In this week’s episode, Dr. Jeff Ditzell and Taylor have a chat about the fairly new term Toxic Positivity

If you haven’t heard of it before it basically means that no matter how bad the situation is you have to keep a positive mindset. This just isn’t realistic and is actually harder to keep up with than processing the emotions

Dr. Jeff breaks down the term and explains that we are human, we are supposed to be feeling emotions whether bad or good. There is so much pressure at the minute with the current global situation so the last thing we should be doing is putting more pressure on ourselves!

Some really good advice in this week’s episode so if you are struggling at the minute and need some of the doctor’s wisdom then this episode is for you!

You are not your thoughts!

Now read it again! This week’s episode also delves into the power of our thoughts and how they can impact our mental and physical health. Dr. Jeff reminds us throughout the episode that we are in control. Our thoughts are random but what’s important is the action that is taken afterward that is really important. Good or Bad you don’t have to act on your thoughts, you are a lot more resilient and powerful than you realize!
